Some of the best found music is old school. Actually, it seems like most of the better music is a bit dated nowadays. So it’s always awesome to find a great piece that you can play around and do something fun with. “Lullaby In Blue” is one of those songs for Boysenberrykids.
This entertaining little piece comes from the hilarious pair of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher in their 1956 movie “Bundle of Joy”. The lullaby was born as a desperate attempt at getting the little “bundle of joy” to sleep one late night. The cute little baby is laid down in a darling little blue bassinet while the charming (and slightly mismatched) couple sings an impromptu lullaby they name “Lullaby in Blue”.
Our version keeps the older feel while slightly changing the melody just enough for it to be fun for the kids to listen to and learn from. We think they’ll also like the cute little puppet chorus we put together for them. They can have some fun when learning the different harmonies and timing of the song while watching the puppets sing and dance along.
It’s a great bedtime lullaby, sweet enough to sing anyone to sleep. Let us know what you think!
